Our People

Texoft is a company that is built around people. Our products are the result of years of communication with each other and with many key players in our client base. At Texoft, we believe that good software can only be developed through good relationships with good people. Over the years, we have been fortunate enough to work with some of the best and brightest people in all of the industries we serve, and the success of our customers in using our products is a testament to that. If you'd like to e-mail any of us directly, just click on our name.

Rick Rubio is one of Texoft's founders and currently serves as Texoft's Director of Software Development & Support. Rick designed and programmed the Texoft Financial Suite, TEX-HCRS, TEX-PEO, TEX-POS, TEX-RMS, and TEX-SUB, as well as a number of custom packages currently maintained by Texoft, including Fixed Assets Management and Depreciation, Fundraising Management, Church Management, and Municipal Utility Billing. Rick began programming in 1982, and has been designing relational databases professionally since 1983. His background in Accounting, Computer Science and Business is rooted in his education at Stanford University and the University of Texas at El Paso. He was also a Systems Analyst/Designer and Director of Software Maintenance for the Harris-Eaton Corporation before he started Texoft. In addition to software design, Rick has also served Texoft clients in paper flow and efficiency analysis, office task flow design and resource utilization, security and disaster recovery procedures, employee training, and ongoing maintenance. Rick's philosophy regarding his work at Texoft can be summarized by the following: "Many software companies measure their success solely by how many sales they make. Only when our clients are able to use our products to succeed in their businesses, can we claim success in our own. We cannot be satisfied until our clients feel that the purchase of our product is the best purchase they've ever made. Many of our larger competitors never learned that; they're gone, and we're still here."
